Founded by Katie Satchell, Satchell Interiors is a full-service residential design studio based in central Virginia, offering thoughtful, highly tailored interiors from concept through completion. The studio is rooted in close collaboration with architects and builders, ensuring each project is executed with clarity, efficiency, and precision. Whether a full-scale renovation, a partial rework, or a new build, Satchell Interiors approaches every home with a comprehensive process that balances design intent with a seamless client experience.
Katie began her career in architecture, contributing to commercial and hospitality projects across Virginia, where she developed a strong foundation in spatial planning and construction. Drawn increasingly to the intimacy and nuance of residential work, she transitioned into interior design. She went on to spend nearly five years at a luxury design firm, leading large-scale custom homes along the East Coast. Her work is defined by a balance of beauty and function, and a genuine appreciation for the role a well-designed home plays in her clients’ daily lives.
